Every home that we build receives a 2 year warranty through American Home Shield®. As the founding and leading Home Warranty Company, they have over 35 years of experience caring for our customers. With over 1.3 million home warranties in force nationwide, and over 11,000 contractors in the AHS service network, they lead the industry in delivering innovative home warranty products to our customers.

  1. Q. What is an AHS Warranty?
    A. A home warranty is a service contract that covers the repair or replacement of many of the most frequently occurring breakdowns of home system components and appliances. The warranty is put in place at no cost to you.
  2. Q. Who pays for the warranty?
    A. The AHS Warranty is completely covered by the contractor at no cost to you except the service call.
  3. Q. Why use AHS?
    A. They've been in the business over 35 years and specialize in home warranty issues. The replacement of one water heater would justify the use of a AHS warranty.
  4. Q. Why do I need a home warranty?
    A. Your home is most likely one of your biggest investments. Unexpected repair or replacement costs can easily strain your budget. Plus, finding an approved and insured contractor to solve your problem can be stressful and inconvenient. A home warranty cannot prevent systems or appliances from breaking down, but it can help make covered repairs or replacement easier and less costly.
  5. Q. Can I extend my AHS Warranty?
    A. Yes you can. If at the end of the 2 years your coverage can be expanded to cover other areas of your home.
  6. Q. What if my appliances are older than 1 year, am I still covered?
    A. Yes. As long as they are listed on the plan for coverage.
